  Hi Friends, Thank you  so much to a few of you who emailed this past week to check on me. You guys are so sweet. I'm so sorry I have't posted the link up the last two weekends. I was out of town one weekend and last weekend I had a very bad cold and just forgot to post. I slept on the couch most of the weekend, and I am finally feeling a little better today.   It's been a struggle the past few weeks getting ready for the upcoming holidays. I miss my dad and Greg's dad so much. It won't seem the same to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas without them this year.   My family could really use your prayers through the upcoming weeks. Thanks so much for being cyber friends and for praying for us.   Hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving.      Hi Guys, Sorry I missed posting last week. Spencer had surgery on Thursday to have his tonsils removed and I let Friday get away from me without posting. His pain meds made him sick so he couldn't keep down his seizure meds and he had a status seizure too. He is doing much better now and is planning on returning to school on Monday. We would appreciate your prayers. I heard this one on the radio and really liked it. I hope you enjoy it too!   For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Well, at least one hand, I had to drive with the other ;-) I also went to chapel at school today with Mary Lyndsey and my  heart was so blessed seeing a bunch of third, fourth and fifth graders worship God with all their hearts.   Hi Friends, Hope you are having a great weekend so far. We are in the full swing of fall with softball, golf, church, therapy, girl scouts etc. The year seems to be flying. I went to dinner with a friend tonight and she mentioned it's 109 days till Christmas - Wow. I think the older you get the faster it goes.   Hi Friends, Hope you have had a great week. We are still getting into the routine of things. It's been a hard week for me. I've really been missing my daddy this week. They are coming to put down the tombstone on Monday and my mom is really struggling. I guess since things have slowed down the reality that he is really gone is setting in. I heard this song on the radio yesterday and it spoke to my heart. Even though healing didn't come here on earth, I know  God is good and faithful and Daddy's healing is complete in Heaven.  Hey Friends,I don't know about you but I am ready for things to settle down a bit and get back into a routine.I think I've slept in my bed at home about five nights this entire summer.I thought summer was supposed to be a time to relax, but we've traveled so much I'm looking forward to school starting so things will slow down. That seems backwards to me :-)It's been a rough first half of the year with losing my father in law and my dad, and I'm hoping for a calm, smooth, second half of 2012.I heard this song on the radio this week and it spoke to me because it reminded me even though some times have seemed almost unbearable the last few months, He is in control and won't give us more than we can handle.I hope you enjoy this week's song.Blessings,Amy PS- Please pray for Spencer on Monday when we see our new neurologist.  Hi Friends,I hope you had a great Fourth of July. Sorry I didn't post last week. We were out of town at my mom's working on her house and as I've told you all before, it's out in the country with no internet connection, so I was unable to get online to post. I can't believe how fast summer is flying by. We were hoping to squeeze a trip to the beach in, but not sure if it's going to happen. We stayed at a place called Wilderness In The Smokies near Sevierville. It had an indoor waterpark and the kids loved it! We had a great time. Sorry I'm late posting this week. My dad passed away this morning around 7am. Please continue to pray for my mom and for us as we travel there today. While I'm sad, I know he is now completely healed and is looking into the face of our Savior. He is finally home.Have a blessed weekend.Amy

 Hi Friends,Sorry I'm late posting this weekend. I scheduled this to post but somehow it didn't and I just now realized it. Please continue to be in prayer for my dad who is near the last stages of his cancer we think. It has now spread to his liver and the doctors will not do any more treatments. Hi Friends, I hope you are having a great weekend. We have just returned from Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios where the kids had a great time! We did find out about my dad's test results however while we were away and it's not good news. His cancer is back in his other lung and his liver. No more treatment. Pray for him and my mom as he enjoys the time we have left together. Thank you for your prayers. This song is what my mom keeps telling herself. It is so true. Happy Easter Weekend Friends!


I'm sorry I didn't post last Friday/Saturday. I think that was the first time in the history of TSMS that I totally just forgot to post. We were out of town in Washington DC, for the National Epilepsy Walk and I completely just forgot! I meant to schedule it before I left, but things were so crazy hectic that it slipped my mind.





We have had fun celebrating Easter the past few days. We have made Resurrection Eggs, Baked cookies and iced them, dyed Easter eggs, and hunted Easter eggs.


While eggs, bunnies and baskets are fun, let us never forget the real reason we celebrate.


Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice.

Hi Friends,

Thank you for all the sweet emails you sent this week and prayers for us. Please continue to pray for Greg's mom, Judy as she adjust to life without her love of 50 years.

It seems I've been surrounded by death lately and it has me thinking more and more about what God has called us to do. The time is short and we are not promised tomorrow.

If there is a dream or vision God has placed in your heart, don't wait. Act now.

Pray for me as I try to take my own advice and move forward in some of the areas I feel God has called me to.

This song speaks to that... It's time to make a move.

I've been reminded this week it's possible to be so sad you feel like you can't breathe and so happy at the same time that you can hardly contain it.

My dear sweet father--in-law entered the gates of Heaven this past Sunday night where I'm sure he was greeted with the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

We are heartbroken and miss him so much already but at the same time we are rejoicing for he is no longer sick or hurting but is basking in the presence of the great I AM and he is singing with the saints.

Please continue to pray for our family, especially my kids who lost the greatest "Grand Dee" ever, my husband Greg who is missing his daddy and my mother-in-love Judy who shared 50 years with the man of her dreams.

We love you Raydee and can't wait until we see you again!

Hi Friends,

We could use your prayers today. We are still reeling from the death of our friend and Sunday School teacher a few weeks ago and have lost two more friends in the last week. Yesterday we called in Hospice for my father-in-law. We are now playing the waiting game. It's so very hard, but we know God will sustain us and give us strength and comfort to make it through. I'm almost a little jealous in that I know where they all are and it's the place I long to one day be.

My heart is broken tonight for a dear friend whose husband passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Even though I'm grieving with her, I'm also rejoicing because I know he is finally home. He leaves behind a beautiful wife and two young children. We aren't promised tomorrow, so may we live each day to it's fullest doing what God has called us to until He leads each of us home.

These scriptures give me hope and remind me to be AMAZED by God.

Happy New Year Friends!

Hope your year is off to a great start. Thank you all the prayers and emails you have sent for my dad and Greg's dad. They moved Greg's dad from ICU to a regular room today with a slight improvement and my dad goes for an MRI on Monday. Please keep the prayers coming. We know they work!

Hope you enjoy this song. Our youth group sings in church all the time and my son loves it. It's one of those that sticks in your head.
