I am so overwhelmed and in awe when I stop to consider who God is and what he does for us every second of every day... what He has done throughout all of time. Our finite mind cannot wrap itself around an infinite God.
He is everything. Everything I have ever needed and everything I will ever need. He has known me since before I was born. He has been present in every event that has transpired throughout my life. He will be present in every event that is yet to come.
This song speaks to that...
"I Am" by Nichole Nordeman

That is a beautiful song. Absolutely love it.
This song is beautiful! Of all the names our great God gives himself, I love "I AM!"
I am really enjoying these posts each week and the words .. real words .. meaningful music.
Amy,
I have never heard that song, but it made me feel cherished by God!
Thank-you for sharing!
What a great song. He is the I AM!
I love checking out all the amazing songs everyone posts. What an awesome way to be ushered into worship prior to sunday services.
God bless, Laurie
Sorry when I posted the first time it was still using the "auto-fill" and I'd made a similar mistake on "Thankful Thursday." I tried to correct it today - ICK! SO SORRY! (I'll watch more closely next time)
I LOVE the song you shared.. and you are right... HE IS OUR EVERYTHING!
Tears. That song is beautiful. I've never heard it before. I recently wrapped up writing a study about God- "I AM, Who?" Through my study of many of the different names of God, it completely transformed who I thought and know God to be. He is the Great I AM, our Jehovah Rapha, our Jehovah Shalom, the Living Water and Bread of Life, and our Abba.
Thank you so much for sharing that song.
Blessings,
Jenifer

Amy,
Hey there friend,
I usually don't blog on Saturdays so this song was a rare post. I will take the time this weekend to put your button on my blog.
Who knows, maybe there is at least a couple other songs I could possibly contribute!
Blessings, Joanne
