Then Sings My Soul Saturday - Every Season

Is life so busy that you sometimes forget to stop and enjoy it? Do you ever forget to look around and take in all the majesty of creation. Do you see God in everything?

In the whispering of the wind,
in the crack of thunder,
in the warm rays of the sun on your back,
in the refreshing smell of the air after rain,
in the twinkling of the stars,
in the color of the flowers,
in the expanse of the sky,
in the crashing of the waves on the shore,
in the feel of grass on your bare feet,
in the chirping of birds,
in the leaves falling from the trees,
in seeing your breath on a winter day,
in the difference of each snowflake.
Do you trust Him through every season of life that you encounter?

"But blessed is the man who trusts me, God, the woman who sticks with God.They're like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers—Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 The Message

Amy,
This song made me remember a thought that occured to me today. I was looking at the leaves that are beginning to turn and fall to the ground. For the first time, I noticed how perfect it is that the flowers that are found this time of year match the falling leaves. That just seemed kind of neat to me!
Have a great weekend!

Blessings Amy...how this peaceful video and song by Nicole touched me this evening! Blessed are YOU Amy
because you trust in God & sticks with God! You are a tree planted by the streams of Living Water. Your roots go down deep without a worry for the heat, not a drop of a leaf.
You will remain serene & calm through drought & bear fresh fruit
every season because you have stopped & noticed and enjoyed every moment as a treasure from heaven with your son, your daughter and that wonderful husband, Greg...who thinks so well of you...God bless the roots of this family that LOVE from the Almighty flow through their being and bursts forth with miracles! Counting on God!TRUST Him

Great song. I've never heard it before. Thank you for the reminder as I get myself doing so much I forget the wonder from the Wonder Creator.

God bless.

Absolutely beautiful! I had never heard that song before.

I am so glad that the seasons change...in our lives just as in nature. I, of course, prefer the spring where there is newness in me. But I have to remember He has purpose in every season I go through. He is always working in us.

Blessings today, sweet Amy!
Praying for you,
K

I love this song! I just finished my 5k and we ran through a woody path. The season is changing the leaves and the colors are so beautiful. I was looking around trying to appreciate all that He has given me here on Earth!

He was there today in everything I saw because I couldn't have done it without him!

I had not heard this song in a long time and it is so fitting today and really put me in the mood to open the windows and feel the autumn breeze. God is so good and even while life seems to be falling apart, He continues on, steadfast, He is still in control. My only regret...I can't find this song to add to my playlist! Have a great day and thank you for always doing this.
