Then Sings My Soul Saturday

I'm a little nostalgic this week. I'm planning to attend my 20th high school reunion tomorrow night. I can't believe 20 years passed so quickly. To try to get into the mood, I was listening to old songs from the 80's this week. I love all kinds of music so I pulled out some oldies but goodies, both Christian and secular. I debated on what to post this week and decided on Christian. I think this song might have actually come out in 1988, not sure exactly, but I know I listened to it in high school. I hope you enjoy!
Have a blessed week!
Amy

That is a great song, Amy. I hope you have a wonderful time. Do you believe I celebrated my 50th high school reunion in 2008. We are planning to meet again next year.

Oh..i didn't know that this song was already more than 20 years ago.. I just heard it recently and I like it. We sang this song for our friend's birthday who has touched our lives so much and who has been faithfully serving God in missions.

Have a blessed weekend!

I love this song. We all need to give our time, talents, and treasures to the Lord...to further His kingdom for His glory. I'm glad you chose to share this wonderful oldie today :).

Hope you have a blessed time at your class reunion!

Congratulations on your reunion!
Twenty years does sneak up on you, doesn't it?
But you've reminded me -
in three years, my class will celebrate its 40th...
Oh my.

Enjoy your evening, Amy, and thank you for hosting this Saturday meme.

This is a great song, although I grieve for the turn the singer's life has taken. But the truth of the song still stands and is a great message!

Thank you so much for posting this wonderful song. The genre of this song is one that I would not usually listen to, as I tend to listen to Christian Gospel. However, I can say I was truly blessed by the words and will most certainly be dropping by to your site more often to listen to more.
Keep sweet in the Lord Amy, God Bless, Carole
