  Hi Friends, Thank you  so much to a few of you who emailed this past week to check on me. You guys are so sweet. I'm so sorry I have't posted the link up the last two weekends. I was out of town one weekend and last weekend I had a very bad cold and just forgot to post. I slept on the couch most of the weekend, and I am finally feeling a little better today.   It's been a struggle the past few weeks getting ready for the upcoming holidays. I miss my dad and Greg's dad so much. It won't seem the same to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas without them this year.   My family could really use your prayers through the upcoming weeks. Thanks so much for being cyber friends and for praying for us.   Hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving. Don't forget to list all the things you are thankful for, then tell God how much you love and appreciate him for all of his blessings.   Amy   Thought I'd share something a little different this week.      Hi Guys, Sorry I missed posting last week. Spencer had surgery on Thursday to have his tonsils removed and I let Friday get away from me without posting. His pain meds made him sick so he couldn't keep down his seizure meds and he had a status seizure too. He is doing much better now and is planning on returning to school on Monday. We would appreciate your prayers. I heard this one on the radio and really liked it. I hope you enjoy it too!   For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.   Heard this one on today on the radio and couldn't help but lift my hands as I was driving down the road. Well, at least one hand, I had to drive with the other ;-) I also went to chapel at school today with Mary Lyndsey and my  heart was so blessed seeing a bunch of third, fourth and fifth graders worship God with all their hearts.   Hi Friends, Hope you are having a great weekend so far. We are in the full swing of fall with softball, golf, church, therapy, girl scouts etc. The year seems to be flying. I went to dinner with a friend tonight and she mentioned it's 109 days till Christmas - Wow. I think the older you get the faster it goes. We brought my mom with us and I think it is doing her a world of good to get out of the house. We so appreciate all of your prayers as we are still adjusting to life without Daddy.   Hi Friends, Hope you have had a great week. We are still getting into the routine of things. It's been a hard week for me. I've really been missing my daddy this week. They are coming to put down the tombstone on Monday and my mom is really struggling. I guess since things have slowed down the reality that he is really gone is setting in. I heard this song on the radio yesterday and it spoke to my heart. Even though healing didn't come here on earth, I know  God is good and faithful and Daddy's healing is complete in Heaven.  Hey Friends,I don't know about you but I am ready for things to settle down a bit and get back into a routine.I think I've slept in my bed at home about five nights this entire summer.I thought summer was supposed to be a time to relax, but we've traveled so much I'm looking forward to school starting so things will slow down. That seems backwards to me :-)It's been a rough first half of the year with losing my father in law and my dad, and I'm hoping for a calm, smooth, second half of 2012.I heard this song on the radio this week and it spoke to me because it reminded me even though some times have seemed almost unbearable the last few months, He is in control and won't give us more than we can handle.I hope you enjoy this week's song.Blessings,Amy PS- Please pray for Spencer on Monday when we see our new neurologist.  Hi Friends,I hope you had a great Fourth of July. Sorry I didn't post last week. We were out of town at my mom's working on her house and as I've told you all before, it's out in the country with no internet connection, so I was unable to get online to post. I can't believe how fast summer is flying by. We were hoping to squeeze a trip to the beach in, but not sure if it's going to happen.  Hey guys,Hope you have had a great week. We have! I finally got my mom out of the house and took her to TN. with us for a mini vacation. We stayed at a place called Wilderness In The Smokies near Sevierville. It had an indoor waterpark and the kids loved it! We had a great time. Hello Friends,I'm so sorry I've missed the last two weekends posting. I've been dealing with everything from my dad passing away and have been out of town with no internet access.  Remember, my parents live in the middle of nowhere :-)

Sorry I'm late posting this week. My dad passed away this morning around 7am. Please continue to pray for my mom and for us as we travel there today. While I'm sad, I know he is now completely healed and is looking into the face of our Savior. He is finally home.Have a blessed weekend.Amy

 Hi Friends,Sorry I'm late posting this weekend. I scheduled this to post but somehow it didn't and I just now realized it. Please continue to be in prayer for my dad who is near the last stages of his cancer we think. It has now spread to his liver and the doctors will not do any more treatments. My mom is holding up very well but could also still use your prayers.Love this song and hope you like it to. I just need to keep remember what "He Said." Have a blessed weekend.Amy
