Then Sings My Soul Saturday - My Own Little World

So sorry I'm late posting today. We had terrible lightning storms for hours last night so the computers and televisions were out. Still raining this morning, but at least the lightning has stopped for now.

I recently had a conversation with a girlfriend about how easy it is for us to get wrapped up in our own little world and not even recognize what is going on around us. Then, I heard this song and it was like God was speaking directly to my heart. Sometimes, I get so caught up in my own list of what I have to get done that day for my house, or my kids or their school, or my husband, that I don't take time to stop and ask what God wants me to do. It's hard because the outside world's problems seem so insurmountable sometimes. But, I'm praying for God to gently remind me each morning and let me see though His eyes. It's a little scary... but cool.
What's your world like?

Have a blessed weekend!
Amy

Hi Amy,

I totally understand about your storm. We are getting some thunder, and it's really dark. I suspect the rain will come soon. Thanks for hosting this meme.

That song certainly says so much. It's not all about us, is it?

I'm glad you're OK. It is best to leave the computer off during lightening storms. But I'm glad you up and running. I didn't want to miss another TSMSS. Thank you for always hosting us. I appreciate it.

blessings,
Debbie
