We made it to California safely! Thanks for all of your prayers. The flight was long, but I love how God is always in the details. The entire airplane was full except for one empty seat... guess where? Next to me. So Spencer got to stretch out over two seats and take a nap. We had lots of room which was great.
Please continue to lift us up in prayer as we share our story at the Epilepsy Advocate event tomorrow morning and as we fly home on Sunday.
This song has epecially spoken to me this week. I have had to remind myself of this several times.
God is in Control.
Don't forget to link to your TSMS post, not your blogspot. Have a great weekend!
Blessings to you!
Amy

Amy, you were on my heart this morning when I was running! That seems to be where I really talk to God the best - and I do get blessed through my sweat! And, the empty seat was definitely an answer to prayer!!! Take care and prayers on your speaking engagement!
Glad that you made it safely. -blessings, Laurie
Great song and reminder. God is in control!
If only I could remember this and stop trying to make things turn out the way I think they should. I turn things over to HIM and while I am getting up from praying..I am also picking up what I just gave to him. If I could just not do this I am sure things would be so much better. This is a lesson I am still working on. HE is still working on me!
Praying for Spencer and you to have a wonderful trip and safe return.
Amy...Yes HE IS...GOD IS IN CONTROL
for your safe trip & return, for each detail, praying that all goes well and you stay in HIS favor!
Twila Paris is my all time favorite! I love
"Sanctuary"...every song!
When things get difficult or much around seems to be happening chaotically, it is so easy to forget that GOD is in control,
especially with all the natural disasters and economic ones... but that's when we simply TRUST and
have HOPE with a large measure of FAITH!
I'm so glad to hear Spencer is alright and resting near you once more safely, praying you through the Epilepsy Advocate event and flight home that GOD remains IN CONTROL...be blessed & no stress!
"...I love how God is always in the details..."..It is amazing that every little detail concerns Him. You only have to examine a flower, the intricate design, to know what our Creator is all about. He is in control, no matter what. Blessings to you, Amy, as you pour out to others, may He pour back in abundance.
I love this song...it is a great reminder that God is in control...something I need reminding of often....
This is just the reminder that I needed - God is in control. This year is just not going how my husband and I had planned. It's not bad, it's just that it's totally opposite of what we thought it would be like. We are unable to work on our goals. But He is still in control and maybe this is all part of His will.
So glad you made it safely. Keeping you in our prayers for the weekend.
Amy,
I didn't see your prayer request until late morning. I so glad you made it without any seizures. Praying your speaking engagement goes wonderfully and the trip home is without incidence.
Blessings!
Cheryl
I haven't heard this girl in awhile. Thanks for the reminder and the video.
I pray all goes well for you and can't wait to hear how was. You are definitely getting the message out there about epilepsy so that is just wonderful.
That very thing has gotten me throught his last week of Nathan being 1000 miles away. He is in control, and no amount of worrying and stress will change it!
Xandra
This is one of my favorites. I had this playing on a cd player in the delivery room when Colin was born.
Ahh, that brings back memories! Twila has some great songs!
So glad your flight was uneventful and your trip is going well....
I am SO glad He is in control. When I try to do it by myself, it never works out!
Thank you for sharing this. I'm proud of you and your son's admirable dedication to your cause.
You're making a difference.
Amy,
Be safe, have fun, and you are exactly right..."God is in Control"...He has ordered your steps for this trip and you can rest in His hands.
Take Care,
Melissa
I've loved reading TSMSS, but this is the first Sat. I've posted!
Thanks for hosting, Amy.
Blessings to you!
Glad all is well. Enjoy!
Twila Paris is one of my favorite singers...and of course this is one of my favorite songs.
Glad you made it safely.
Blessings,
Rebecca
Hi Amy,
I hope you and Spencer were able to relax and enjoy yourselves. I am really excited to meet you at the conference in a couple of weeks. I try not to think about it too much because I am really nervous. My comfort zone is home in Kansas raising kids, I don't know anything about traveling and speaking. I guess if nothing else it will be nice to meet my "blog friends" in person.
Take care and I look forward to hearing about your weekend!
Praying for you guys this weekend. I'm glad to be a part of this again. I haven't been able to participate in a while. Thanks again for hosting this.
Blessings,
Jenifer
I haven't heard this song for awhile. Good One!!
Praying for safe travels home!
