We all slept downstairs last night - the kids in the guest room, and Greg and I taking turns with them or on the couch - not a good night's rest. I'm trying to do laundry (washer and dryer are upstairs btw) and pack for California. It is going very slowly. I put a load in, then come downstairs. Then take a load out, then come downstairs. It's going to be a long day.
Spencer is having lots of seizure activity this week so I'm a little stressed about flying with him tomorrow. They called me to pick him up from school today. I spoke to our neurologist and tried to get a back up plan for if he has a seizure on the plane tomorrow. I have a rescue med, but if he happens to have a seizure and the rescue med doesn't stop it (as has happened in the past), then they would possibly have to land the plane. Please pray that we have a safe, seizure free trip!!!
He and I are headed for San Jose to speak at an Epilepsy Advocate event. Greg will be here in the heat holding down the fort. He has to take Mary Lyndsey to have dance recital pictures on Saturday. Of course they are scheduled for when I am out of town. I already have an appointment with the salon for her. Daddy will take her to get her hair done. Somehow I can't see him putting her hair in a bun with ringlets. As awesome and talented as he is, I don't think he's that good :) Pray for him too as he deals with makeup, hair, tap shoes, ballet shoes and tutus.
My computer is upstairs, so forgive the short post. I'm melting :) We fly out early tomorrow, but I promise to come back with TSMS on Saturday. Hopefully I can get internet connection while on my trip. I'll post Part 2 of Niagara Falls next week. I know you are all in suspense :)

ooooh, Amy, I am sooo sorry!!! I will be praying for you and Spencer this week and weekend. I think of you and him often and from now on I will just start praying on behalf of Spencer because that just might be the time he is "going through".
I will be away for a while, but will be checking your blog for an updates and praise reports ...

I thank You for Amy. I thank You so much for her heart for You and her love for her family. Father, I pray right now that you would intervene on behalf of her family. Thank You that You are able to provide in situations like broken air conditioners. Thank You that You can put Your mighty hand upon Spencer's body and keep it at rest during this trip, especially the flight. Thank You that You can help Greg with the many "girlie" details that baffle a daddy. And thank You that You can keep Amy's heart at peace. You are the God with whom nothing is impossible. I lift up this precious family to You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

You are under some major attack right now. It sounds like you are making a difference and Satan doesn't like it. I will pray for you and Spencer as you travel this weekend and also for your husband and daughter at home. It has been a few years since we have done recital pictures but I remember how stressful they could be! Take care and keep the faith girlfriend, God is using you!!

Father, I come to You in agreement with Kim's prayer. I ask also that You thwart Satan's attempts to harass this family in any way. Please place a hedge of protection around each of them. Please grant them all grace sufficient for the day. Hide them under the shadoww of the Almighty. I especially ask for peace for Amy. I entrust Spencer into Your Hands, knowing You know, knowing You are able. In Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen.
I just read this post. I'm sorry you are having such a tough week. I hope you and Spencer had a good flight. I pray you have a seizure free trip. My daughter had her dance pictures while I was out of town also. Look forward to seeing more pics from Niagara Falls. Check out my post with photos from Ireland when you get a chance.
Oh, so sorry about the lack of air conditioning. Praying for you and Spencer and that the trip will be worth while and meaningful for you both. Also praying for no seizures.
