Top 100 Christian Blogs

What a sweet surprise! I just got an email from Suzane at Becoming a Radiologist Technician about an article they posted that listed the top 100 Christian Blogs. I saw many of you who participate regularly in Then Sings My Soul listed there too so... Congratulations.
Signs, Miracles and Wonders is #56

Here's the link if you want to check it out. You might find some new blogging buddies you like from the list!

The Easter Egg Hunt

We had a wonderful Easter at Grand Judy and Grand Dee's house this past weekend. The kids had a blast hunting Easter eggs and lunch was great. Now if we can just get rid of all this chocolate maybe I can start my diet :-)
Here are a few pics from The Hunt.

Spencer and Mary Lyndsey
The family ( Lucia included )
Grand Judy and Grand Dee and all the grandkids.

I hope they love each other this much when they get to be teenagers!

Have a blessed day!

Washington Trip / Epilepsy Stuff

I've been promising to post pictures from our Washington Trip to the National Epilepsy Walk and I finally have them loaded. I don't know where the time goes. This week sort of disappeared on me.
Before I share a little about our trip though, I want you to check out these two links on epilepsy stuff.

The first link is a video of Greg Grunberg
on CNN talking about Epilepsy Awareness and his new website TalkAboutIt.Org. Be sure to check out the Talk About It site too. It's very cool!

The next link is to the cover of Newsweek for April 20. It's an awesome story on epilepsy.

There is lots of great information in all these links! By the way, Spencer is 4 weeks seizure free again. Hallelujah! Please continue to pray for no seizures as we are about to go to Disney World for Spring Break.

Here are some of the pics from Washington.
Me and Spencer on Capitol  Hill
Spencer as The President of the United States :-)

Jake Grunberg and Spencer
Jake, Phil Gattone and Spencer after the Walk.

We had a great time at Kids Speak Up and at the Walk. We raised over $500 for the Epilepsy Foundation. I think over 9,000 people attended the walk this year despite the rain. Spencer is already asking if we can go back next year.

5 Minutes for Faith - "Just Like the Disciples"

I'm over at 5 Minutes for Faith today, come join me.

5 Minutes for Faith - Daily Devotions for Moms

Do you ever have difficulty believing something you know Christ has promised? Perhaps you have heard Him whisper, "you will have that child you so desperately want, just wait" or "your marriage is not over, trust me" or "I will provide for you, you will have everything you need." Sometimes we think the things He has promised us, the things we dream of, just can't possibly be true. Then we feel like second rate Christians, not worthy of carrying His name and promise to the lost. We think, "If I can't trust Him, how can I be worthy to ask anyone else to?" If you have found yourself doubting or confused lately, don't be so hard on yourself, you are surprisingly just like the disciples.

Then Sings My Soul Saturday - In the Presence of Jehovah

I've talked to several friends this week who have said their life is hurried and busy. They are tired and stressed. I'm right there with them. We all are facing different issues. The economy, financial challenges, health challenges, marital stresses, difficulty with our kids, self-worth issues - everyone is facing something.

Isn't it great to know there is One we can go to where our questions are answered, our troubles vanish, our hearts are mended and we can find rest.

Take a few moments to concentrate on the One who wants to be your PERSONAL God, the One who wants to meet all of your needs.

I pray you have a blessed weekend.

PS... I promise pictures of DC are coming soon. I just have to find time to get them uploaded :-)

FaithLifts - Time in a Bottle

5 Minutes for Faith - Daily Devotions for Moms

I'm over at 5 Minutes for Faith today. Please drop by and read the rest of this devotion!

Have you ever shaken a bottle of something to make what's inside come out faster? You know... the shampoo bottle, the ketchup bottle, or the squeezable jelly bottle. Sometimes when you shake the contents of a bottle to the opening, you get what's inside to move faster.

Click here to read the rest!

P.S. I planned to blog from Washington but my computer stopped working the second day there, so I had no access. I plan to post pictures and tell about everything we did tomorrow. Have a blessed day!
