Have you ever gone through a period of time where you didn't like yourself very much? I know I am fearfully and wonderfully made, so that's not the kind of not liking yourself I'm talking about. I'm talking about knowing you should be doing more. Knowing you have somehow started to drift and now you feel lost and off course from the plan God has for your life. I'm talking about being frustrated for not having more self discipline. I think the feeling I have is what Paul was talking about when he said,
"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." Romans 7:15
Anyone been there? I heard this song recently by Sanctus Real and it resonated with me. My prayer is that He would change me from who I've been lately into who He wants me to be.
Praying for you to have a blessed weekend.
Amy

Love this song! Thanks for sharing it and hope you have a great weekend!!
Love the song, i've been there also, frustrated with myself for not doing what I ought to do, I’m still a wok in progress though, I know He alone can change me.
Blessings!

Sanctus Real has some good songs. I wasn't familiar with this one.
Thanks for doing this meme so faithfully!
I, too, long to be changed from what I am into what He wants me to be.....a process that is neverending. I'm so thankful that He doesn't give up and is always willing to step in and do the work in me that will not be finished until this life is over! Thanks for sharing this song....love Sanctus Real but hadn't heard this one!
