Then Sings My Soul Saturday - Remedy Drive

I'm posting early this week. Hopefully, Mr. Linky will work!
Wooh, what a crazy week! As soon as Spencer and I returned from Wisconsin on Tuesday, we left for Colorado on Thursday for another epilepsy program. What fun! We are thankful for a great program and safe travel!
Of course when you are on a plane as much as we were this week, there's not much to do but read. I re-read a great book on this trip called When the Soul Listens by Jan Johnson. In it, Jan talks about prayer, and she highlights that we must believe that God is with us all the time, everywhere.
She says:
"Scripture assures us that God is present everywhere, at the same time: 'If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me.' Psalm 139:8-10
The problem is not that God goes away, but that we are unaware of his presence.
This song sort of reminds me that. Sometimes we are unware of His presence and we miss Him.
In the words of the song:
"I finally found what I could never see before, You've always been the one that I was looking for. I won't miss you this time."
I pray you and I won't miss His presence. He's been right here with us, All Along.

Sweet Blessings,

Amy

I've heard this song but didn't know who sang it, I like it! I referenced Psalm 139 too, then I came to leave my link and read yours and thought that was neat ;)! I might check out that book!

I'm so thankful that He lives within us and works through us by His Holy Spirit. He never loses one of His own and you are one of His. How awesome is that?

Blessings Amy...first time that I can remember not leaving a comment for you first! It's been a while...
good to hear about you & Spencer's Epilepsy talks went well & you're safely home! I had to wait for you to post comments to see if I wrote one...Psalm 139 is speaking to many, I love the portion that you chose. God is with us everywhere...and at all times especially waiting for us to pray or just talk or better listen.

First time for me to hear this song & artist! I'm with Leslie, what a terrible thing to miss or be unaware of His Presence, but we do often when we are walking our own way or away from Him & obedience!

I pray that you also will not miss His Awesome Presence & the many blessings He wants to pour out on you & through you! You are a blessing as always! Happy TSMSS!
