Then Sings My Soul Saturday

Anyone who has watched TV the last two days knows Michael Jackson's death has completely taken over the news in current events. Whether you liked him or not, he definitely made an impact on the world - in both good and bad ways. One positive thing he did was to donate to lots of charities.
I wanted to pick out a song by him this weekend because I have to admit, I listened to my share of Thriller back in the day. I even caught the World Premier Event of the video on MTV.
This Michael Jackson song is not a typical TSMS kind of song, but I think the message is one that can be.

If you would like to sponsor a child to help make a change, you can visit one of these sites.

Compassion International or World Vision.

James 1:22 -25 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

What kinds of changes would you like to make? Start today.

Sweet Blessings,

Amy

Amy,
Great song to share. I have a strong emotional connection to Michael Jackson. His earlier music brought much joy in my life. He once said that he sang songs he could 'mean' in some way.
Blessings to you.

I love this song. I also posted about MJ this week. He had his issues, but he was a good entertainer.

That video was so heart wrenching and surprising to be matched with Michael Jackson's song. Our little guy we sponsor through World Vision lives in Sri Lanka.

Thank you for the song and scripture and for supporting the needy children.

I feel very sad about the death of Michael Jackson. I remember him as a young child with the Jacksons. His music changed so much in the industry. His dancing made such an impact too. I don't know that we really know all that went on in his life. I think the media doesn't always get all the facts right. But needless to say, I'm sorry about this news and have enjoyed many of his songs, especially from the Thriller album.

I was actually going to post a MJ song today as well, even though I was never a fan.
Just so sad.
What a wonderful song of his that you chose.

Have a blessed Saturday!
